O T I N C. provides comprehensive occupational therapy (OT) services to children and adolescents in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Working primarily in schools, our team uses a collaborative and tailored approach to support the unique needs of each client. The partnerships that we have established with our schools sets the foundation for a realistic treatment journey; one that “makes sense” during students’ formative years.
We pride ourselves on utilizing evidence-based and functional tools to enable optimal performance throughout the therapeutic journey. Building and maintaining relationships with members of the client’s care team remains at the forefront; this may include caregivers, teachers, learning strategists, and other healthcare practitioners. We recognize that meaningful engagement and progress can only be made when recommendations from OT are applied in places where the child spends the most time – in the classroom, at home, and in the community doing what they love.

After many years of collaborating, both professionally and personally, it was finally time to amalgamate and come together under one umbrella. Jessica (formally the director of Jessica Gelfand Occupational Therapy) and Jordana (formally the director of Jordana Schwarz Occupational Therapy Services) are passionate clinicians who practice using the same methodologies, have aligned values, and are both dedicated to providing high-quality and functional care. Alas, OT Inc. was established in 2023. Jessica and Jordana are proud to have expanded the team, allowing OT Inc. to service additional schools, offer home visits, and treat diverse client populations.
